Further to the consultation that we undertook earlier this year for London Luton Airport Ltd, the owner of London Luton Airport, on the futureLuToN:Optimisation project, we would like to thank you for taking the time to get involved. We would also like to inform you that the airport's operator will, from this point onwards, be driving forward revised plans to increase the airport's capacity.
As you may be aware, London Luton Airport Limited (LLAL), the company that owns the airport, and London Luton Airport Operations Limited (LLAOL), the airport's operator, have now signed a Supplemental Agreement to enable London Luton Airport to continue to be managed, operated and developed by LLAOL to 2031.

where updates will be posted by the LLAOL team as they become available.
The development of plans by each party via public consultation with residents and businesses in Luton and the surrounding region earlier this year has resulted in a decision by the airport's owner and operator to integrate LLAL's futureLuToN:Optimisation programme with LLAOL's plans for London Luton Airport.
LLAL is taking this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to give their feedback through the futureLuToN:Optimisation consultation; we can confirm that the resulting Consultation Report has been provided to LLAOL to inform the development of the plans for the airport. This report will be available for everyone to view when LLAOL presents its proposals to the public for consultation later this year. LLAOL is preparing to submit a planning application for the increase in capacity at the airport towards the end of the year.
